Selecting an Inspection Company

The goal of this procedure is to help you to select a capable 'Inspection Company'. The process comprises 2 steps:

  1. Send a questionnaire to the pre-selected inspection company
  2. Evaluate this questionnaire to enable you to understand if the company is in a position to inspect your food

A competent Inspection Company (IC) will be awarded with a Long-Term-Agreement of 3 years renewable for an additional 2 years. Selection of the INS will be based on their technical capability (60%) and their financial offer (40%). WFP expects the INS to invest in WFP’s requirements, i.e. an extended scope of work.
