Assessment of the potential supplier starts with collecting initial information trough Initial Paper Assessment (IPA) questionnaire.

  An IPA is a preliminary document used to gather relevant information from suppliers related to the commodity. The IPA is also utilized for factories existing on the WFP roster that have not undergone the pre-evaluation process. Inspectors are required to utilize an approved and standardized checklist which address among other issues, proper food quality and safety
